SAIS Avalanche Forecast
Run by those hardy guys who go out every day to check out the avalanche risk in all the major climbing areas, this is an excellent source of information to us all. Not only giving avalanche risk but also provides comments on the climbing conditions and ice build-up in all the major climbing areas. Always come here before you go out there.

climbing conditions reports and photos. Formally available at Winternet-Scotland Ron now post his reports on the Talisman Mountain Diary Blog which also includes regular video footage.

Alan Kimber's Winter Conditions Reports
Alan Kimber provides one of the best winter conditions reports available. His climbing guides are out on a regular basis through the season in the Lochaber area and other locations to the West. For up to date reports on venues like Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor these reports are excellent.
